Who we are
Arx Logistics B.V., Zilverplevierstraat 79, 1025 XN Amsterdam, Nederland (KVK 96665521) is responsible for processing personal data as described here. Contact: info@arxlogistiek.nl.
What data we process
Quote requests: company name, contact person, email, phone, pickup and delivery address, cargo details and notes.
Drivers and staff: name, email, phone, contract type (employee or freelance) and login data. During a shift that the driver starts personally, the current GPS position is shared with our dispatch. We only keep the latest position, no route history, and delete it when the shift ends.
Messages: if you contact us via WhatsApp or email, we process your number or address and your messages.
Purpose and legal basis
Answering your request, carrying out the transport and informing you about its status (performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps).
Planning, safety and efficient routing of drivers (legitimate interest; for drivers only during the shift and after prior information).
Administration, invoicing and statutory retention duties (legal obligation).
Who we share data with
Only with parties we need: our hosting and email providers, map and routing services (OpenStreetMap-based; addresses and your IP address are processed for this) and – if enabled – WhatsApp (Meta) and an AI service for draft replies (Anthropic). We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Quote requests without an order: up to 12 months. Completed orders and invoices: 7 years (tax retention duty). Driver data: as long as there is an employment or contractor relationship, then according to statutory periods.
Cookies
Our public website sets no tracking or marketing cookies. Only the staff and driver login area uses one functional session cookie.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Email us at info@arxlogistiek.nl. We respond within one month. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, connections use HTTPS and access to data is limited to staff who need it.
